SECOND ISBA INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARDS, 2010

After the sucess of the first ISBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship award, nominations were called for the year 2009 from all member STEPs and TBIs to be awarded during ISBA 2010. The award committee received 45 applications from start-ups and graduate companies almost from all the sectors of research. All the nominations were scrutinized and categorized in four different groups as:

  • Agri/Agri-Tech/Inclusive growthAwards

  • Biotech and Pharma

  • Clean-Tech and Engineering

  • Information and Communication Technology


Jury Committee Award 2009 (ISBA Conference - 2010)

The leading experts from various financial institutions, academics, technocrats, agriculturists, rural development were selected and Jury committee was constituted by ISBA. Prof Arun Nigavekar, former Chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC) chaired the discussion. After scrutinizing 45 nominations the Jury meeting gave recommendations for the even start-ups and two graduate companies from Indian Incubators across the country.
